Winter Sonata

We just came back from Korea 2 weeks ago. This was our first time braving our kidz for sub-zero temperatures. David has only been to Hong Kong which was not very cold even in December. Faith is luckier, she has been to Hokkaido and Perth on top of Hong Kong, but all in summer. So this time round, it was a brave move, and by God's grace, the kids were in the pink of health throughout the whole trip, even upon returning home. No colds, no fevers, no coughs ... really Thank God for that!!

The itinerary with Chan Brothers was not bad. But i must comment that the food we got was far from satisfactory. We only had pork and vegetables throughout the whole trip, no beef, no fish, no chicken, no seafood. Quite unbelievable. We made a comparison with a friend who went with ASA, who paid about $50 per adult less than us, but they were treated to sumptuous food at every single meal. Seafood, saba fish, huge juicy looking chicken cutlet etc etc, gee, we must have be grossly shortchanged! (Like dat sure can loose weight man!)

However, we still had a wonderful n a very memorable time in Korea. The scenery was beautiful. The weather froze us at times, but the kids took it all in stride .. 3 cheers for Faith and David!!! They love the snow, and they insist on going back next year to ski!! So Korea, we'll be back!!

This is Everland. What a skinny Santa!

This is David's favorite bear, displaying his 'sexy pose'

And off we go wee .....

Gave up on snowmans ... they made snow balls instead ...
